The review starts with the agreed requirements, scope and available documentation and evidence. The material is assessed against the selected security or compliance baseline to determine how well the existing controls and supporting evidence address the relevant requirements.
The review does not require a pre-prepared compliance matrix. Existing policies, procedures, registers, assessment results and other relevant evidence can be provided through the online brief. Where a specific clarification is needed, only the information necessary to complete the review is requested.
The assessment is performed remotely and delivered as a written report, with no meetings required.
Having a policy or control in place does not necessarily mean that a requirement can be effectively demonstrated. A review can identify where documentation is incomplete, where evidence does not sufficiently support an existing control, and where requirements may not yet be adequately addressed.
This provides a practical view of the current level of readiness and helps focus effort on the areas that matter most, rather than treating every gap as equally important.
A tailored written review covering the agreed requirements and scope, including:
• requirements-to-control and evidence mapping
• assessment of coverage and evidence adequacy
• identified gaps, weaknesses and missing evidence
• prioritised findings and recommended actions
• an overall readiness view
• concise executive summary
The report is designed to provide a practical basis for deciding what should be addressed next.
